Myra Dirnfeld and Elisa Geliebter are Split the Bill. Known
for their harmonies and intricate musicianship, their performances offer intriguing and rhythmic original songs along with
popular selections from the 60’s to the present in a wide range of genres including classic rock, folk rock, alt-country,
ballads, show tunes and standards. Their set list includes songs by The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Indigo Girls,
Everly Brothers, Jackson Browne, Bon Jovi, Eagles, Heart, Rascal Flatts and many more.
Instrumentation features
guitars, keyboard, mandolin, harmonica and percussion.
The Kingston Daily Freeman of NY described their first album
as "compelling and haunting" and noted that Split the Bill makes music in “a comfortable living
room way that’s been lost in recent years”, and they do “a fine job of bringing real music back, as it should
be”.
Myra and Elisa live in the Hudson River Valley of New York and perform regularly in restaurants,
coffeehouses, lounges, festivals and songwriter showcases. They are currently recording their second album.
